remeki ("we," "us," "our") is a classifieds platform for listing and discovering used/old machinery (construction equipment, generators, spare parts, and similar). We connect buyers and sellers ("you," "your") — we are not a party to, and do not guarantee, any transaction between them. By creating an account or using remeki, you agree to these terms.

You must provide accurate name, email, and phone details, and be at least 18 years old to register. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion and without prior notice for serious violations (fraud, threats, illegal listings). You may request account deletion at any time via our contact page.

You may only list machinery you own or are authorised to sell. Listings must be accurate — correct price, condition, location, and photos of the actual item.

The following are never permitted, regardless of category: stolen or unregistered equipment, items whose sale violates Indian law (including but not limited to arms, hazardous or banned substances, and equipment lacking legally required registration/documentation for its class), counterfeit goods, and listings that are fraudulent or intentionally misleading.

remeki may review, edit for policy compliance, reject, or remove any listing at its discretion, and repeat offenders will be banned. Posting a listing is free and does not guarantee a sale, visibility, or any minimum duration on the site.

remeki does not process payment for the machinery itself, hold funds in escrow, or inspect items on your behalf. All negotiation, inspection, and payment for a listed item happens directly between buyer and seller, off the platform. As stated throughout the app: meet in person, inspect the machinery before paying, and never wire money in advance to someone you haven't met. remeki is not liable for the condition, legality, ownership, or quality of any item listed, or for any loss arising from a transaction between users.

All payments on remeki are processed via Razorpay, are for access to a specific platform feature only (never for any listed item), and are inclusive of applicable taxes (e.g. GST) unless stated otherwise. None of these renew automatically — no future payment is ever taken without you actively choosing to pay again. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for the full refund terms for each. If a payment is disputed or charged back without cause after the associated benefit has been granted, we may suspend the associated account pending resolution. The paid features currently offered are:

• Posting fee — a seller's first-ever listing is always free. From the second listing onward, a one-time fee (free under ₹1,000, ₹300 for ₹1,000–₹9,999, ₹600 for ₹10,000 and above, based on the listing's price) is charged before the listing is published.
• Listing renewal — a new listing stays active for free for 60 days. After that, keeping it active for a further 60 days costs ₹300 (under ₹10,000) or ₹600 (₹10,000 and above), and can be repeated indefinitely.
• Boost — ₹49 to place an active listing above other listings in search and browse results for 7 days.
• Premium membership — ₹299 for 30 days, unlocking sellers' phone numbers for the membership period. New signups are currently paused; existing members keep their membership until it expires.

You may leave a review for a seller only after messaging them about a listing. Reviews must reflect a genuine interaction — fake, retaliatory, or paid-for reviews are prohibited and may result in account action or review removal.

Spam, harassment, scraping the site, circumventing bans, posting prohibited or stolen goods, and impersonating another person or business are all prohibited and may result in immediate suspension.

You retain ownership of the photos, descriptions, and messages you post, but grant remeki a licence to host and display them as part of operating the service. Don't post content you don't have the rights to.

You agree to indemnify and hold remeki harmless from any claim, loss, or liability (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your listings, your conduct on the platform, or your transactions with other users, to the extent such claims result from your breach of these terms or applicable law.

remeki is provided "as is," without warranty that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, remeki is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from any transaction with another user. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g. internet/hosting outages, natural disasters).

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer-protection law giving you the right to approach your local forum, courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or your use of remeki.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and remeki regarding your use of the service.

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of remeki after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
